Our Business Plan for The Bank

Meeting by phone today with Matt to discuss our business plan for the bank.  Working out the nuts and bolts, our menu and pricing.

My Mentor

One Sunday morning at the farmers market my daughter and I were doing our thing, me the upfront person filling the orders my daughter taking care of the money and keeping track of whats selling and me telling our story;  We are Sweet Intentions a mom and daughter team with a goal of opening a retail bakery in two years, the response was always the same, where? People would ask.  I would say where would you like to see us?  Everyone wanted us in their town or some place close.  Peyton said in my building!  She went on to say I love helping women in business after you are done here come and have a look at my building, is just down the street and to the left.

My daughter and I looked at each other in amazement she began informing her friends on Facebook.  We packed up at 3pm and drove down the road to find that building.  It's a beauty on the main street.  I will post a photo.  We are still in the process of it all moving forward.  Peyton is truly an enterpriser she has had many successful businesses and knows talent when she sees it.

What's New?

We added to the menu this past Sunday,   snicker doodles,  oat meal craisins and baby it went very well!

Web Designer!

Met with an awesome web designer this afternoon and let me just say Sweet Intentions will be on the internet very soon.

Sundays Farmers Market

Had a great day at the market, sold out of the cinnamon rolls, triple chocolate chip cookies, both chocolate and vanilla cupcakes, sold all but three of the cream cheese pound cakes.  Conversation with the customers was the best!  They share parts of their lives with us, we are forming relationships.

Donut Muffins

My daughter really developed this basic recipe.  And it was a hit at the Farmers Market.

What a great idea!  Basic recipe baked off beautifully color was kind of light and the taste was light.  This recipe can be improved.

The Red tape of the government

Oh boy! fill this out send that here and wait for ever for us to get that done.  Oh yeah, and how about parking down town?  And oh yeah! what about trying to get into a government office, oh no!

A new chapter in my life

I'm not an employee today but a business owner.  Fulfilling a dream; ladies  and gentlemen I give you Sweet Intentions LLC a mother daughter team.  Started way back in the 80's had a great start and middle, but it ended not because the partners disagreed but the husband at least that's who he use to be.  I'm still standing with years of training in the education of art and experience in the world of art museums and exhibits.  Five years working for people pleasing, poor communicating, I will step on you to get to my next advancement managers, otherwise wonderful company.   Two years to get our name out there into the public mindset and taste buds.  Two years for the name Sweet Intentions LLC to evoke words like; Finest quality in materials, beautiful work, reinventing the action of customer service, always willing to give options.  Two years to decide on a location outside my home.  By the way I am licensed to work out of my kitchen.  Back later sweeties.

    

One Day Left

One day to go and the new chapter starts, perhaps it already has in that I have one day left.  I use to think someone took this dream away from me.
